When is the best time for my 4D Ultrasound?

There are many stages to your baby’s development in the womb, and they are all beautiful. That’s why many mothers have more than one ultrasound performed during their pregnancy, so they have images and videos to enjoy from their second and third trimesters.

What to expect to see between 15-22 weeks

Between 15-22 weeks, the baby’s facial features are still developing and is still lacking adipose tissue.  You start to see cheeks around 18+ weeks, though baby is still skinny.

What to expect to see between 27-34 weeks

Between 27-34 weeks, the baby’s facial features are developed and can be seen in detail. You will get a glimpse of how they’ll look on arrival. We tend to focus on the face or other body parts at this stage, since the entire baby won’t fit on the screen.
